When a computer is used for learning, the meaning of "learning" is changed. The mind-book, both a visualization tool and experiential thinking technique, can be integrated to any on-going creative, learning and/or therapeutic process, in formal and informal settings. For students, their mind-books are hands-on thinking tools to explore their imagination and voice, and include their personal perspectives and cultural preferences, within a learning-by-doing environment. For teachers, the mind-book is a visualization method to evaluate the students' learning process, and assist them to accomplish a more complex understanding by building new knowledge from their own performances.

The scope of application of the mind-book includes, but it is not limited to, the following major topics as they relate to the educational and developmental aspects of multimedia/hypermedia and telecommunications:

  • Pedagogical Issues
